Liberate Yourself from the Chains of Your Past: Create Heaven on Earth
Do you ever feel the desire to break free from old conditioning, limiting mind-sets that have been with you since childhood, or old emotional wounds that keep you feeling and “being” stuck? I feel there is an innate longing for liberation that stems from the depths of our soul. It is something that we must address and acknowledge to experience the fullness and richness of our life experience. It’s something we must break free from to create and experience heaven on earth.
Freedom of the soul is known and can be realized when we make a commitment to living our lives in the present moment, knowing that we always have the choice to create new, empowering beliefs that serve us as well as a new expansive mind set that allows for less rigid ways of experiencing life. When we do this, we place ourselves in the role of “conscious creator,” which allows for deep inner contentment and spiritual purpose, rather than living a life based on old limits, fears, struggles, demands and empty promises that stem directly from the driving force of the ego.
The dream we are living is truly our own creation! It can be changed and altered at any time. Every day provides us with a clean slate. We hold the daily power to sculpt the masterpiece of this lifetime from our soul’s perspective. It is our perception of reality that we can change at any moment. We have the power to create hell and we have the power to create heaven… on earth. Which do YOU choose? All you have to do is imagine seeing your world with new eyes and see the world around you in a fresh, new, more expansive way. This allows you to see, know and perceive love in everything and everyone around you. From my experience, this is the true meaning of bliss, contentment and inner peace.
We are free to change our lives and make them void of unnecessary struggle and conflict and instead create lives filled with gratitude and grace. It simply requires an upgrade in consciousness. In other words, as we expand our truths, beliefs, thoughts and patterns, we can experience a new reality. We can use our voices, our eyes and our hearts to share of ourselves and connect with others without judgment. We can choose to have compassion for our parents, our families, our loves ones, our colleagues or anyone we encounter. We can eliminate the emotional poison in our minds and remember that it’s possible to live with peace in our hearts. This is possible. It is available within us. It all begins within.
As you commit to responding instead of reacting, as well as speaking, behaving and interacting with compassion and soul-generated integrity, using your personal power for the sole purpose of connection and acceptance, you will naturally and beautifully radiate your inner light outward into the world and create positive change. How liberating will that be? As best selling author don Miguel Ruiz says, we must not take anything personally. Nothing others do is because of us. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality; their own dream. When we are immune to the opinions and actions of others, we will cease being the victim of needless suffering, and we will create our own heaven on earth.
Challenge yourself today. Choose to feel nothing but love within you and around you. Notice the interconnectedness of everything. Notice the deeper reason beneath your challenges. Acknowledge your ability to rise above chaos and choose healing and peace instead. With every breath you take, you can experience harmony in an entirely new and expansive way. In truth, there is only unity. This sense of unity is experienced through the timeless, formless knowing that we are essentially all one. It can be easy to forget this! Separation is a misperception created by the human mind and ego. It can just as easily be released as we re-member that we’re all united. This is done with embracing new eyes of perception. You can choose to transcend ego barriers and reconnect with limitless creative wisdom, knowledge, and energy that exists all around you and within you. You are a part of this energy. You were made of this energy. This is who you are and who you’ve always been.
