* Release the need for external approval/validation. When we re-member that the source of our truth lies within us and that our journey is unique, we can release any need to be something that we’re not. We can also release the need to make others happy by doing what they feel is best for us. As we remove the inauthentic masks that we wear to impress or gain approval of others, we allow our spirit to shine in the way that it’s meant to shine. We cannot live our divine destiny if we’re relying on something or something outside of us to clarify our path. As we trust in our intuition and take action upon our deepest desires, the journey will unfold beautifully.
* Release blame. It is far easier to blame our parents, our partner, our employer, the government or anything outside of us for our present circumstances. Yet, in choosing this approach, we give away our power. The beauty in life is recognizing and claiming our role as a conscious creator of our moment to moment experience. As we commit to taking full accountability and responsibility for what we are allowing and creating, we step into the role of a soul-driven champion. In this space, the opportunities are limitless and the magic is commonplace. This is the space we want to reside. It’s our birthright.
* Release the need be “right.” The question to ask ourselves is this: “Would I rather be right or would I rather just be happy?” So often we expend far too much energy and time attempting to convince others that our way is the best (or only) way. The reality is that there is no one “right” way. The way we perceive things determines how we experience it. As our perspective shifts, so does the interpretation.
* Release poisonous/toxic self-talk. Do you find yourself repeatedly defining yourself in limiting ways? Do you find yourself being overly critical and judgmental of your actions and your overall state of being? Our self talk can be poisonous and toxic or liberating and expansive. What we consistently tell ourselves about ourselves becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. It’s wise to be very aware and discerning of what we believe we are capable of. We make this our truth. Why not create a new story that reflects the beauty, purity and worthiness of our spirit? We have that daily option. We deserve this. Each of us can begin right now. We can shift those old, limiting stories into bright, expansive stories that honor our spirit and allow for the success that is ever-present and always awaits us.
* Release fear. Fear is simply false evidence appearing real. It appears real because our emotional reaction to it aligns with the ego and the ego says it’s “right” to feel that way. In other words, as we choose to respond from spirit, the fear subsides and the possibilities ( that were previously invisible) open up. Our attention and focus on the uncertainty of anything in life only serves to magnetize further uncertainty and strife. The key is to first become aware of any patterns we have of feeding the fear. Once that happens, we can shift our attention to the possibilities (instead of the potential limitations.) A simple shift in perspective can produce profound changes in our experience. As we change the way look at and perceive something, that something (or someone) changes to reflect and match our new outlook.
* Release any resistance to change. Change is the inevitable component of life that happens either with our approval OR without it. As we rides the waves of inevitable change with trust and faith, we allow for the expansion and evolution that our soul intended for us to experience in this lifetime. Any resistance to the flow of change brings unnecessary struggle that only serves to keep us frustrated and stagnant at best. The true beauty in life occurs when we ride the winds of expansion without the element of force or denial preventing it’s natural flow. Open doors cannot be seen until or unless we allow for them. It is in releasing the resistance that the invisible becomes visible and the unknown becomes known.
Have a beautiful week!
Stay empowered, my friend!
With love,
